Development Drishti is a non-commercial Entity, founded by development professionals to support NGOs and organizations addressing critical national and Sectoral issues. Our primary focus is on health, education, skill development, livelihood enhancement, women empowerment, and policy advocacy.

Background:

In 2006, a small group of former USAID employees began meeting informally to share experiences and foster mutual support. Over time, this network expanded, and in March 2016, a formal WhatsApp group was created, with 89 members on board, including active professionals working in development organizations across India and abroad. These interactions evolved into regular “Meet and Greet” coffee sessions, where participants discussed pressing societal challenges.

Recognizing the potential to contribute more meaningfully, the group decided to establish a formal platform to channel their expertise toward societal development. In August 2023, The Development Drishti (DD) was launched. With over three decades of collective experience across diverse fields such as healthcare, education, skill development, livelihoods, energy and environment, IT, financial management, partnerships, administration, and logistics, Our members are dedicated and offer pro bono services.
